Homemade Double Chocolate Chip Frap

Hey guys! So, instead of buying double chocolate chip fraps from Starbucks, I found some recipes online.
You need:
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar (I've forgotten to include this before, it hasn't changed the taste)
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 2 cups of ice
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla
  • Whip cream (optional)
Ingredients.. NOTE: The Hershey's chocolate syrup tastes a little off. It's better to get the Smuckers chocolate syrup.
Put the chocolate chips in the blender and blend
Add the ice, and milk, and syrup, vanilla, and the sugar
Blend it all up! (Thats my baby brother sitting next to the blender)
Add whip cream, and chocolate or caramel syrup on top. (I don't like whip cream)

Basically put it all in the blender and blend. It is better to have small chocolate shavings instead, because the chocolate chips don't fit through the straw because the pieces are too big. Pour it in a nice tall glass with whatever topping you like. Serve cold, with a straw.
Bon Appetit! Tell me how it turns out if you guys like it! Sorry about no post yesterday, but I have a huge haul coming up!

  1. I don't mean to sound spammy (and feel free to delete this if I do) but I'm an ex-barista and I published a free tutorial on my website on how to make iced lattes and blended frappuccino type drinks. It's got recipes for different drinks, too.

Coffeeshops use a "secret ingredient" when they make their blended drinks which makes them so creamy and well mixed (not separating). I thought you might like to check it out, the tutorial does talk about where to get the equipment and secret ingredients.

And did you know that the kind of ice you use will make a difference in the texture of your drink?

  2. Oh my goshhh yumm!!!

And I saw your commment! The honors and 10% scholarships are particular to that school. But I'm sure other college offer quite similar programs.

I'm not sure about their interior design/architecture programs. They probably offer it, but it's not known for at this school. I'm looking at their journalism/communication program and they have a good teaching program, too. But the overall campus feel and non-academic things are excellent at this school!

But yeah! are you looking into colleges?
